I wanted to dry a book in the microwave when I was 6 one time, but mom was like, “What are you doing?!” So I got scared, and could never test that theory sadly 😄

I also remember how I wanted to be a part of the Midnight Society 😄. It has always been a dream of mine. The Ghastly Grinner used to come out of smelly pipes, so I was afraid of my own sink and my toilet. Anything that had a pipe, I was afraid of 😄. So Nickelodeon did develop some phobias that I slowly overcame over the years 😄.

In 1994, I was three years old and I remember this episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark. I was a very brave rugrat as you can see lol. As you can tell, I’m a Nickelodeon baby. The episode of the Ghastly Grinner was pretty spookie. I remember the face of the Ghastly Grinner. That’s the first thing that pops in my mind when I think of this episode. Consisting of how long ago this was, it was pretty memorable. I do remember after watching this on the daily Snick, I watched a lot of Clarissa Explains It All, just so I wouldn’t have nightmares. I did have nightmares eventually of the Ghastly Grinner chasing me in the woods. So the Clarissa Explains It All daily snuck showings didn’t work. Sadly lol
