Gerald is kind of realistic though than Skeeter. But Gerald can be a little pessimistic than Skeeter.

I like Skeeter as a friend than Gerald. Cuz Skeeter helps Doug a lot, but I agree that Gerald can be a little selfish sometimes. Like Arnold has a good heart, especially in the episode when Gerald’s sister eats all the chocolate turtles. And Arnold was like, “It’s okay, we will make new chocolate turtles.” Then, Gerald is super mean to his little sister.

I love Arnold Shortman, because he’s not afraid of being himself and he’s nice to people that are mean to him. But at the same time I love Doug, cuz I can relate to him in so many levels. Growing up I kept a journal, and my pets were my best friends, because I didn’t have real friends. I had one real friend in second grade but that was it. So I can relate to both characters.
