I still love you guys, and I’ll still be a loyal listener, but I wanted to clear some things about my country and I’m not ashamed of my country. We have been through hell and back, but we still stand together on and off the island. Most of my family still lives there going through the changes of the country, so it’s hard to adjust to those changes.

I’m from Puerto Rico and I felt sad for my country, because even in the 90s, there was a lot of government corruption. So this has been going on for decades, and that was the reason my dad had to join the army, and we moved to the US in 1998. So like it’s been hard. The son of the governor that was our governor in the 90s, was involved in a lot of corruption as well. So since there’s a lot technology now compared to the 90s, all the secrets came out. And that’s why people rallied and wanted him out. We were tired of this never ending corruption and the stealing of millions of dollars in taxes due to the misuse of the money by the government. So I’m glad that we fought back for a better country and government. So I hope we have a great governor that is willing to treat the Puerto Rican people right.

So what I thought of this movie was that I got pretty nostalgic lol. But other than that it was awesome how they linked the past to the present, and how the characters interacted with the present. Rocko reminded me of myself when we went on a transition from the 90s to the 2000s. I thought it was gonna be something like Back to the Future, but it was more like a link from the past to the present. So this movie was a good representation of that. I loved the movie though, and I’m glad that they embraced the future. I learned to do that with the new iPhone, the new iPad, etc. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter...but in a way I live in the past cuz I love the fashion and the music. Also, the movies and I still use a Walkman which surprisingly works cuz I got one in high school in 2008. But other than that, the present is pretty cool lol
